Event review:


First: On September 23, a Weima EX5 in Wenzhou burst into spontaneous combustion, and the battery pack on the vehicle did not catch fire or explode.


The second incident: On October 5, a Weima EX5 parked at the roadside in Shaowu City, Fujian Province, caught fire and spontaneously ignited, resulting in a large area of body fire. It is reported that the fire occurred at the rear of the vehicle and gradually spread to the whole body, and the vehicle was completely damaged.


The third incident: On October 13, there was another spontaneous combustion of Weima in Fujian Province. This time, it was a Weima EX5 car with 96% charge. The two Weima car accidents in Fujian were the same batch of vehicles purchased by Shaowu Jiale Taxi Co., Ltd., which were put on the market for only a few days.


The fourth incident: On October 27, a Weima EX5 electric vehicle in the East Fourth Ring Mechanics Institute of Haidian District, Beijing, caught fire and exploded. According to eyewitnesses, this Weima EX5 "exploded when it was parked in the original place and was not charged". The explosion was also very powerful, and many residents around it felt strong.
